Evan Curry, Lead Pastor

Evan is a native of Northeast Philadelphia, where he currently lives with his wife and four children. He is a card-carrying Philadelphian and is unapologetically zealous for this city. Evan has held various pastoral roles over the past 10+ years at a number of churches across the Philadelphia area, including youth, worship, adult education, and church planting. Evan is a graduate of Cairn University (Bachelor of Science) and Missio Seminary (Master of Divinity). He enjoys spending time with his wife and family, drinking coffee, watching more TV than he probably should, reading less than he probably should, and cheering for the Eagles, Phillies, Sixers, Flyers, and Manchester United. His greatest accomplishments in life have been advancing the human race fourfold and winning tickets to the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta. Evan's main emphases are trusting the Lord, faithfulness, and seeing the truth of the gospel grow in a person's life.

A Quick WORD FROM EVAN

I'm a Northeast Philly kid. My wife is a Northeast Philly kid. We love Northeast Philly.

When my wife Amanda and I went to buy a home, to be honest, we did our best to avoid Northeast Philly. We tried to find homes in the suburbs, but nothing felt like "home." So, with two kids and one on the way, we ended up buying a home in the Bustleton section of Northeast Philly.

And we love it!

Why do we love it? Because it's home. Because the people in Northeast Philly are our people. Because Jesus loves our neighbors and friends and died for them. These people are loved by Jesus and by us. And now with four kids and back in Northeast Philly after a few years hiatus, we're ready to see awesome things done in Jesus' name!
